The AmpliMax range employs superparamagnetic spherical particles that selectively bind the nucleic acid of interest. The magnetic bead based system eliminates the need for laborious centrifugation steps, thereby allowing rapid sample processing and fine control of solution volumes. The yields produced are suitable for a range of standard laboratory assays including genotyping, PCR, qPCR and Sanger sequencing.

 

The chemistry can be used with a range of magnetic separation systems available in the market (e.g. Hamilton, Perkin Elmer, Thermo Fisher). The system can be custom designed to suit project through-put where a thousand samples can be processed per day on automated platforms.
